Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This role involves creating nurturing learning environments, developing curricula, assessing progress, and building strong relationships with families.

The successful candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement age-appropriate curricula that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Progress Assessment: Regularly assess children's progress and adjust strategies accordingly to ensure optimal growth and development.
  • Family Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with families through regular communication and collaborative approach.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure high-quality care and compliance with industry standards by staying up-to-date with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Requirements
  • Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor: Possess a relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor degree).
  • Working with Children Check: Hold a current and valid Working With Children Check or be able to obtain one.
  • First Aid Certificate: Possess a First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Early Learning Framework: Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.
  • Quality Standards: Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service.
  • Cultural Awareness: Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families, and individual children's needs.
