Job Title

Lead Platform Engineering Team

You will be a critical part of leading the team that provides the foundation for all product innovation.

  • Build and lead a high-performing platform engineering team
  • Hire, develop, and retain exceptional DevOps and SRE engineering talent
  • Create an environment where engineers feel empowered, motivated, and supported to build world-class systems and infrastructure
Strategic Vision
  • Drive the strategic vision for core infrastructure
  • Owning the roadmap that improves the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform
  • Partner with product engineering teams to understand their needs, improve the developer experience, and ensure our Kubernetes-based platform provides a world-class foundation for their features
Key Requirements
  • Experience in back-end and systems engineering
  • Deep understanding of DevOps and SRE principles
  • Excellent, concise communicator
  • Ability to own the delivery of platform initiatives, break down requirements, and provide reasonable estimates
  • Pragmatic and flexible
  • Able to set a high bar for quality and inspire the team to prioritise quality
