Data Platform Strategist

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to lead the development of our modern data platform. The successful candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures.

The key objectives of this role include migrating legacy data processes and models into a scalable lakehouse architecture, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the existing data platform, and creating robust CI/CD pipelines.

  • Migrate legacy data processes and models into a modern lakehouse architecture.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to upgrade and enhance the existing data platform.
  • Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience using Databricks.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Python for data engineering.
  • Solid background in SQL and knowledge of data governance and platform architecture.
  • Experience building data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure).
  • Prior experience working in regulated industries is preferred.
