Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Leader to join our team as the Head of Technology - Retail & Corporate Functions. This critical role will play a key part in driving our technology strategy and ensuring that IT initiatives are closely aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior business leaders to drive technology innovation and thinking across retail business functions
  • Align IT strategies with business decisions, ensuring that technology enables the business to adapt to changing retail landscapes and customer needs
  • Optimise vendor relationships, monitor performance, manage budgets effectively, and drive continuous improvement
  • Proactively collaborate with senior business leaders to define how technology can support and enable strategies, fostering effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Advocate for IT solutions that enhance the retail business's operations and highlight the value of IT investments in improving store operations, supply chain efficiency, and the online shopping experience
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in IT, ideally in a fast-paced Retail environment
  • At least 7+ years of experience in Senior IT Leadership/business partnering roles
  • Experience working cross functionally at senior levels in a matrix organisation
  • Outstanding communication skills including the ability to negotiate with and influence internal and external clients and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and build sustainable productive working relationships
  • Strong business acumen, ability to take a strategic view as well as explain complex topics succinctly
  • Understanding of the current and emerging technology and their potential business impact
  • Collaborative by nature with ability to show initiative, innovation and creativity
