Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Operations Specialist to operate and troubleshoot field-deployable analytical equipment. This role involves supporting various scanning systems, including Truscan and Minalyzer units, and their related software.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot complex issues with proprietary analytical equipment.
  • Operate and maintain electronic equipment and software in the field.
  • Conduct scanning activities in the field and workshop settings.
  • Provide logistical support for field operations.
  • Log and escalate incidents in the Issue Management System.
  • Travel regularly to fulfill responsibilities.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting, service, and repairs.
  • Collaborate on creating Service Work Packages and training documentation.
  • Support product development through testing and reporting activities.
  • Train client technicians to safely operate analytical technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety policies and Key Performance Indicators.
Requirements:
  • Australia work authorization.
  • Field experience on a drill rig or mining/exploration core facility (desired).
  • Understanding of core sample handling and logging (desired).
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build relationships with key customers and teams.
  • Interest in digital technologies and innovation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and initiative.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Basic electrical and mechanical skills (desired).
  • 4WD and Senior First Aid certifications (desired).
