We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the design and development of cutting-edge battery storage systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of electrical systems for battery storage projects, including system architecture, electrical schematics, and power distribution layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems for battery storage projects.
  • Perform detailed electrical analysis, simulations, and modeling to optimize system performance.
  • Guide the selection and integration of battery components based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct comprehensive electrical design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
  • Plan and execute on-site electrical testing, including factory acceptance tests (FATs) and site acceptance tests (SATs).
  • Work with external stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals, certifications, and sign-offs.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in power and renewable energy. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in electrical design, particularly with battery storage systems and utility PV projects. The candidate should also have hands-on experience with switchboard designing, electrical distribution systems, and ongoing testing.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer status is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with Medium Voltage and High Voltage design.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, ETAP, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
