Bradman Carbon and Renewable Energy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our HV design team and drive the success of our solar and BESS projects across NSW/VIC/QLD.

About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing HV design packages, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project-specific requirements. You will work closely with senior management to develop and execute engineering strategy, identifying new project opportunities and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Planning: Develop HV design packages, ensuring alignment with project specifications and integration requirements;
  • Compliance and Standards: Adhere to relevant Australian Standards and industry practices for HV systems, ensuring regulatory compliance;
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute engineering strategy, identifying new project opportunities and technological advancements;
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on emerging technologies, offer technical expertise to teams, and ensure the feasibility and sustainability of engineering solutions;
  • Documentation: Manage and produce all required engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy and currency throughout project lifecycles;
  • Consultant Engagement: Manage consultant relationships and scopes to deliver design, reports, and reviews of engineering and commissioning work streams.
Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of engineering experience. Proficiency in electrical engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, PSCAD, ETAP). Experience in renewable energy solutions, including 5+ years in PV design & engineering. Expertise in generating electrical, civil, geospatial, and mechanical drafting and engineering, with specific experience in new HV grid connections. Familiarity with Australian/New Zealand standards for electrical systems and competence in industry-standard power systems and renewable energy software.
