Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist to join our team at Michael Page. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies

Work closely with our Senior Communications Officer and Assistant Director to develop and implement communication strategies that align with our organizational goals and objectives.

Coordinate Communication Campaigns

Coordinate the implementation of communication campaigns across various channels, including web, social media, digital, PR, and marketing.

Content Creation and Editing

Write and edit engaging content for diverse audiences, including web, social media, and marketing materials.

Media Relations and Outreach

Assist in producing media content that influences government, ministers, and the public.

Stakeholder Engagement

Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations.

Project Management

Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Requirements
  • Experience

More than two years' experience working in a media and/or strategic communications role.

Skills

Strong strategic communication skills, both written and verbal.

Judgement and Integrity

Sound judgement and an ability to work under pressure.

Relationship Building

An ability to form strong and productive working relationships.

Teamwork and Adaptability

Ability to work as part of a small team, as well as across various project teams.

Technical Skills

Ability to learn new IT systems quickly and efficiently.

Demonstrated personal drive and integrity while achieving results.

Ability to manage and prioritize competing issues and activities.

Eligibility
  • Australian Citizenship
