About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Planning Manager to join our Commercial team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing promotional planning strategies that drive commercial outcomes and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with category teams to develop multi-horizon promotional plans aligned with category strategies and supplier agreements
- Analyze insights to identify growth opportunities within Fresh Produce and make recommendations to stakeholders
- Develop processes for ongoing reviews of promotional effectiveness and alignment with customer trends and seasonal dynamics
- Align promotional calendars with customer calendars to deliver cohesive trade plans
- Conduct competitor market analyses and manage activities to ensure value propositions are delivered to customers
About You
You will have a strong background in commercial roles, with experience in leading change and driving business outcomes. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- Extensive retail experience in a comparable commercial role
- Prior experience in Fresh Produce (desirable)
- Demonstrated strong financial expertise and analysis skills
- Comprehensive category management experience, with a focus on optimizing product offerings, pricing, and promotions
- Experience building and executing trade plans
- Proven ability to influence at a senior leadership level
