Program Officer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Officer to join our client in the Townsville CBD, Queensland. This is a contract role that offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in project management and administration.
The successful candidate will provide support to program and project managers, ensuring effective management of programs and projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring regional office projects for data quality and making timely adjustments to meet project timelines.
- Collating, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on the performance and status of program/project and financial support activities.
- Preparing, contributing, and negotiating solutions for identified conflicts in projects.
- Overseeing project spend and taking necessary actions to mitigate under/overspends.
- Conducting research and providing solutions to stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Previous experience in a program/project management support position.
- A proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A current class C driver's license.
- An ability to undergo employment screening as part of the hiring process, including a criminal history check.
