Financial Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Kmart. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly group reporting for Kmart Group.
  • Manage and maintain financial systems, including SAP, to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years' experience in a mid-large scale corporate business with a good understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in the use of financial systems, including SAP, and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA) or in progress.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive improvements and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
