About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. As a leader in the retail market, we're optimistic about our future and yours. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Manager in delivering all accounting obligations for the Kmart group of companies, whilst supporting both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure all accounting policies, procedures and relevant group requirements are adhered to.
  • Creation and review of periodic financial reporting pack.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the business, supporting the preparation of insightful commentary & reporting.
  • Ensure key provisions are prepared, reviewed and monitored
  • Prepare and co-ordinate Wesfarmers group reporting requirements in a timely manner
  • Identify risks and opportunities for the business in a timely manner to enable mitigation of identified risks.
