Physiotherapist Opportunity in South Metro Area

We are seeking a Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team, providing community-based care programs and short-term care for older adults in the South Metropolitan area of Perth.

This autonomous role requires travel in the designated area, providing care to customers in their homes and spending time on-site at Transition Care Program facilities. The successful candidate will have a customer base in the South Metropolitan area and access to pool cars or paid mileage.

The position is part-time, with 22.5 hours worked per week, Monday to Friday during core business hours. There is capacity for a partially hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized care plans to meet each client's unique needs
  • Design individual and group exercise programs to optimize client function and independence
  • Prescribe equipment to support client autonomy and well-being
  • Foster collaboration with clients, families, and caregivers through effective communication
  • Ensure seamless care coordination and accurate progress tracking through meticulous record-keeping
Requirements:
  • Current FULL registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
  • Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy while working effectively with other health professionals
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate quality care
