About the Role

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of residents' physical and psycho-social functioning, working collaboratively with residents and their loved ones to identify physiotherapy goals, needs, and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage falls prevention, trending, analysis, management, and post-fall review
  • Manage musculoskeletal conditions, including assessment and treatment
  • Implement evidence-based pain management strategies for acute and chronic pain
  • Enhance mobility and functional ability through rehabilitation and education
  • Promote health and education around cardiovascular and respiratory rehabilitation
  • Address continence, bowel, and pelvic health issues
  • Support residents with manual tasks and transfers
  • Manage oedema and advocate for residents' choices and well-being

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for enablement and rehabilitation. They will be supported by a team of senior clinicians and encouraged to participate in peer support activities, ensuring opportunities for personal and professional growth.
