Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Performance Lead to join our Retail Banking team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategy, program delivery, finance, or consulting and be able to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

The role will involve providing effective delivery oversight, managing governance rhythms and cadences, working with senior leadership to define and manage objectives and key results, and partnering with RBS Executives, Finance, and other key stakeholder groups on performance reporting, planning and forecasting, investment and operational decision support, expense management, business intelligence, resource management, and line 1 risk.

The Senior Performance Lead will also be responsible for tracking and reporting progress against crew objectives and key results, leveraging data-driven insights to inform continuous improvement opportunities, developing and managing a comprehensive workforce strategy for the crew, establishing, monitoring, and enhancing the crew's operating rhythm, cadences, and tools, and supporting the development of centralised operational procedures and tools.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Comprehensive understanding of risk management in complex environments adhering to compliance obligations and developing 'risk resilient' cultures
  • Experience working in agile, programs, and/or projects; able to teach and lead by example
