Aboriginal Men's Team Leader Position

Join our team as an Aboriginal Men's Team Leader. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of facilitators and case managers who work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families impacted by Family Violence.

Job Description

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, cultural understanding, and trauma-informed practice. As an Aboriginal Men's Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering programs with cultural safety, integrity, and strong community connection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of facilitators and case managers in providing support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families.
  • Develop and implement culturally safe and effective programs that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working in Family Violence (essential).
  • A solid understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice.
  • No prior leadership experience required - training and ongoing support provided.
  • A Diploma or higher in a relevant field (training support available).
  • Passion for supporting mob on their healing journey.
