Our client seeks a mine planning professional to contribute to the success of a large scale coal operation.

This is an exciting opportunity for either short term or mid term mine planning where you will collaborate with the team to maximise production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead short term or mid term mine planning activities including mine designs and schedules.
  • Build relationships with operations teams to develop plans and designs.
  • Deliver plans to operational personnel and monitor progress.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical advice.
  • Track KPIs and commercial progress.
Requirements:
  • Australian open cut mine experience required.
  • Open cut coal experience necessary.
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mining or Civil).
  • Spry/Vulcan software knowledge desirable.
  • Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain).
  • Queensland driver licence required.
