We have a strong and thriving team at our Poitrel mine and want you to enjoy the exciting journey ahead for the Stanmore team in the Basin.

Your role as a Mine controller will provide safe, effective & efficient operation of these world-class machines.

Job Description

Duties for the Dispatch team will include:

· Set and demonstrate a proactive approach to health, safety and environmental standards and ensure a safe working environment is maintained.

· Engage with a crew full of diverse personalities to deliver monthly and daily plans with high levels of conformance.

· Ensure that equipment stoppages and delays are recorded and provide coordination to ensure prompt action by the Shift and Maintenance Supervisors.

· Support supervisors and operators utilise equipment resources to achieve the mine plan and production targets.

· Assist in optimising mining activities by providing operational coordination through the effective use of the fleet management system as part of the shift management team along with production, drill & blast and Maintenance Supervisors and Leading Hands.

· Ensure the equipment stoppages and delays are planned and coordinated to reduce impact to the production cycle.

· Coordinate and monitor equipment operator breaks and ensure equipment is refuelled and equipment delivered for planned maintenance.

· Be an active participant in the continuous improvement program.

· ​Serve as a central communication personnel for mine production and safety, including emergency events.
