Finance Claims Specialist

The role is a key position within the finance team, responsible for managing and processing rebate and deal claims. This involves verifying claims using approved deal conditions, entering payment data into the accounting system, and generating credit notes.
Key responsibilities include overseeing claims processing for rebates and deals across all divisions, tracking actual claims from customers, and reconciling to trade spend master files and accruals. The role also requires maintaining supporting work papers and information to show how reconciliations and calculations are performed.
Additionally, this position entails creating an accurate and efficient process to calculate monthly, quarterly, and annual trade spend reports required for customers. It is also essential to follow processes to enable the completion of customer claims and log issues for follow-up until resolved.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in the finance team.
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills and work with big data.
- Well-developed computer and numeracy skills.
- Demonstrate tenacity when identifying issues and communicating with the team.
It would be beneficial to hold a qualification in accounting.
