Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert legal advice and support to our local production business, Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia Pty Limited (WBITVP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate, draft, and review agreements related to scripted content production, including development, production, and distribution agreements.
  • Advise on production subsidies, tax offsets, and other incentives available in Australia.
  • Assist with the assessment of potential production partners and third-party production services providers.
  • Work closely with the broader Warner Bros. Discovery Legal team on legal and business matters impacting production in Australia.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Experience negotiating and drafting scripted development and production agreements is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, specifically Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent attention to detail.
