About the Role

This newly created role involves overseeing the end-to-end payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payment to all employees, including executive leadership. The successful candidate will lead and mentor the payroll team, manage payroll compliance with relevant legislation and company policies, and continuously improve payroll systems and processes.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Payroll team to deliver exceptional payroll services to employees.
  • Manage day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of pays.
  • Identify workforce trends related to remuneration and benefits, collaborating to implement workplace improvements.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls, risk management, and audit frameworks.
  • Proactively drive system, process, and procedural improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal and external payroll audits and ensure compliance with all relevant policies, legislation, and standards.
About You / Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be highly experienced across payroll compliance and industrial awards, with extensive senior leadership experience within a payroll environment.
