Job Overview:

Treatment Plant Operator – Waste Water

We are seeking an experienced professional to operate and maintain the Goulburn and Marulan Wastewater Treatment Plants, along with associated sewerage pump stations.

This role requires strong technical expertise in wastewater treatment processes and operation of equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the public, staff, and other stakeholders.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plants and associated infrastructure
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues or faults
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and carry out repairs as required
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents at the treatment plant
  • Develop and implement plans for improving efficiency and reducing costs within the wastewater treatment operations

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective and safe management of essential infrastructure within the community.
