This role presents an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler to contribute to the success of Australia's largest shipbuilding program.

  • Loading and unloading of steel plate and beams
  • Forklift, jib & Gantry Crane Operations
  • Input and upkeep of data within the relevant ERP database system
  • Establish and maintain goods traceability through application of business policies and procedures
  • Daily interaction with the operator team – material delivery to Shipyard drops zones.

Maintain 100% material inventory accuracy, tools and equipment. Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.

About You

Applicants should have a Heavy industry / engineering background and possess the following skills:

  • Dogging or Rigging Ticket
  • Gantry Crane experience
  • Heavy Vehicle Licence
  • Knowledge of ERP / Oracle / Sap
  • Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment.

Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance is essential.
