Portfolio Management Opportunity

A senior project leadership role has become available at a leading insurance software vendor in the Sydney CBD.

This position requires overseeing multiple project deliveries, ensuring timely and profitable completion. Collaborate with client-facing delivery managers to align with client requirements and project scope.

Develop resource planning skills, identifying potential gaps or bench time risks. Foster a culture of mentorship and development within the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate delivery performance through portfolio management and leadership.
  • Support pre-sales efforts by supervising delivery managers during client interactions.
  • Plan resources proactively to mitigate risk and optimize project outcomes.
  • Promote professional growth opportunities for team members.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in software implementation project management.
  • 4+ years of expertise in portfolio/program management.
  • Client-facing software vendor experience required.
  • Strong Agile and Waterfall project methodologies understanding, preferably PMP certified.
  • Effective leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • General insurance industry knowledge.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile, or Scrum Master.
