Job Title: Disability Liaison Officer
At Mecwacare, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Liaison Officer to join our team. As a Disability Liaison Officer, you will play a vital role in facilitating effective customer engagement and administrative support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate access to NDIS services and develop care plans with participants.
- Complete assessment paperwork for service access and annual review.
- Build networks and promote community engagement to support our clients.
- Work collaboratively with the service delivery team to ensure seamless support to our clients.
What You Bring:
- Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent.
- First Aid level 2 Certificate and NDIS Check.
- Rostering and scheduling experience in aged and disability services environment.
- Proactive attitude and ability to multitask.
- Demonstrated experience in a client-focused position with a commitment to providing superior customer service.
- Logical mind with an ability to see the bigger picture.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of Carelink+, CHSP, HACC guidelines and My Aged Care Portal.
