Job Opportunity - Waste Facility Operations

We are seeking an experienced Waste Facility Operator to join our team in a permanent full-time position. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe management of waste disposal and recycling processes at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various types of plant machinery with precision and attention to detail.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective waste management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs to enhance your skills and expertise.

Requirements:

  • A current 'C' Class Manual Licence, as well as a Construction Industry White Card.
  • Possession of at least one nationally recognised Major Plant competency (e.g. Excavator, Forklift, Wheel Loader).
  • Highly desirable qualifications include Certificate III in Waste Management and Removal of Non-Friable Asbestos Certificate.
