Research Assistant in Mental Health Rehabilitation

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Research Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at the South Australian Local Health Network. The role is based in Noarlunga, working with our Mental Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Service Team.

About the Role

This part-time position involves coordinating research activities under expert guidance, managing projects, analysing data, and disseminating findings. You will work closely with our team to develop research directions for the SALHN MHRS, participate in interview and questionnaire development, conduct interviews, administer surveys, and coordinate focus groups.

  • Complete and timely data collection, entry and management, and assist with the analysis of the data generated across SALHN MHRS.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation, including regulator documents, signed informed consent forms, relevant HREC approvals, source documentation, interviews and questionnaire responses, and other study-related communications.
  • Develop research directions for SALHN MHRS.
  • Recruit internal and external guest speakers and coordinate sessions for education and networking purposes.

About You:

  • You have a relevant Tertiary qualification.
  • You have experience in research design, management, and data analysis.
  • You are proficient in using online survey tools, databases, and statistical packages (IBM SPSS).
  • You have experience in completing administrative tasks under minimal supervision.
  • You can prepare and present the findings of applied research.
  • You possess the ability to work under limited direction, autonomously or as a collaborative member of a team, including prioritising and effectively managing diverse workloads to meet agreed timelines and objectives.

**Salary:** $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (pro rata), plus salary sacrifice benefits.
