About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Signalling Electrician to join our team in a permanent position on the Brisbane Airport Rail Link. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing inspections, assessments, and maintenance of the track and associated equipment to ensure the safety and integrity of the rail link.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of engineering systems, plant, equipment, and depot facilities
  • Routine inspections, maintenance, and repair activities on signalling, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure
  • Attending to failures, including identifying and reporting on the cause of failure
  • Responding to after-hours signalling, electrical, and mechanical call-outs to system failures and incidents affecting train services
  • Assisting with developing improvement maintenance plans, technical instructions, and procedures to improve productivity
  • Providing on-the-job assistance and knowledge to other team members
Requirements
  • Unrestricted Electrical Workers licence / Electrical mechanics Licence QLD
  • Current CPR LVRCert IV in Railway signalling Construction white card Rail Safety Worker Category 2
  • Ability to be on call on alternating weekends
