As a Senior Designer, you will be part of our innovative team responsible for designing fit-for-purpose apparel. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead trend analysis and product innovation, creating high-performance products tailored to the specific needs of our industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead trend analysis and product innovation by researching emerging trends in fabrications, construction techniques, technology, trims, and accessories.
  • Translate trend insights into commercially viable design concepts that align with our brand positioning and customer needs.
  • Design and develop product lines that meet our requirements, ensuring functionality, performance, and market relevance.
  • Conduct critical reviews of existing products to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Create detailed technical specifications to support accurate and efficient product development.
  • Collaborate with teams to conduct fitting appraisals, ensuring optimal fit and quality across product ranges.
  • Manage and monitor adherence to timelines, striving for continuous improvement in speed-to-market.
  • Communicate design and development progress clearly across teams, identifying and resolving roadblocks.
  • Ensure product compliance through wearer trials, quality testing, and risk assessments.
  • Design cost-effective products by optimizing materials, construction methods, and design efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar position
  • Experience in technical apparel or similar would be highly regarded
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage own time and priorities
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Strong eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
