**Job Title:** Data Platform Developer

InfoCentric is a specialist data consultancy that delivers innovative solutions in cloud data platforms, analytics and AI. We're seeking a talented developer to join our team in Melbourne.

**About the Role:**

In this hybrid role, you'll play a key part in modernising legacy on-premise reports and rebuilding them using Microsoft Azure and Power BI technologies. You'll focus on delivering high-performance, cloud-native reporting solutions that meet business needs for accuracy, speed, and scalability.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain reports using Power BI, including Paginated Reports.
  • Proven expertise in SQL for querying and optimizing data models.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL Database.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native BI practices, including performance tuning and scalable architecture.
  • Experience validating and testing report outputs for accuracy, layout fidelity, and performance.

**Nice to Have:**

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Familiarity with Spark or other distributed data processing frameworks.
