We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive the implementation and evolution of our cloud platform. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure using Terraform on AWS.
This position requires a deep understanding of cloud computing, DevOps practices, and software development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Prefect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing core platform infrastructure to support marketing data products and applications.
- Developing and enhancing integrations between different platforms and AI tools.
- Building and maintaining robust, automated CI/CD pipelines to empower Data Engineering and Data Scientist teams.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable platform solutions.
- Implementing data security best practices across the platform to ensure data assets are protected.
Requirements
You are more than just a coder; you're a platform visionary with a passion for innovation. With 5-10 years of experience in DevOps and Software Development, you've got the battle scars to prove you've been around a bit and know how to get things done.
Here's what we're looking for:
- 5+ years' experience in DevOps and Software Development, with a focus on running production workloads, building platforms, and implementing integrations.
- Strong Python skills building high traffic services.
- Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools like TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness, or CircleCI.
- Proven proficiency in Infrastructure as Code utilities, specifically using Terraform for deploying AWS resources.
- Deep understanding and experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- A solid grasp of DevOps practices – you live and breathe them.
- Robust knowledge in SRE tools like Sumologic, New Relic, and key AWS services.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to articulate complex technical concepts with ease.
- Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Prefect.
- Proven proficiency in the rollout and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing across multiple levels of an organization.
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
