As a caring and compassionate Home Care Worker, you will join our team in the Forster area to provide home help services to older members of our community.
Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys variety in their day and is passionate about providing an excellent service. They should be able to build positive relationships with clients and their families and are committed to assisting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer.
Key Responsibilities:
- General housekeeping and making beds
- Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Washing, folding and ironing laundry
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
- Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
Requirements:
- An Open class Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, with experience in aged care
