Strategic Communications Leader

A critical role in defining the messages delivered by senior executives through internal and external communications, including speaking engagements, video, social media and PR. This position involves developing content, collaborating with stakeholders and identifying opportunities to build the Managing Director's brand externally.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive executive communications and employee communications plans that encompass relevant message platforms, storytelling, event execution, speaker image and personal development.
  • Work effectively with diverse groups, including executives, other executive staff, content and business owners, and event production teams.
  • Support senior leaders with leadership communications, major change and transformation initiatives.
  • Write scripted speeches, blogs, internal communications and more on behalf of the senior leadership team.
  • Contribute to the development and creation of presentations and video content used by executives aligned with overall communications strategy.
  • Manage and develop content for senior leaders' social media presence, including blog posts and written content.
  • Research audience, technologies, industry trends and financial data to inform communications.
  • Align with the broader communications team to drive the right internal agenda across the business.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with external vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Communications or a related field.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience as an experienced communications practitioner.
  • Strong mix of social media, marketing, PR and communications skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with initiative, planning and execution skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with senior executives.
