Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Automated Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. As an Operator Maintainer, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations by promptly addressing system faults of both technical and operational nature.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring, operating, and troubleshooting faults in automated material handling equipment within a fast-paced production environment.
  • Efficiently resolving machine faults using logical problem-solving techniques, even at heights of up to 30 meters while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Utilizing literacy, numeracy, and IT skills to interpret and maintain data and fault information accurately.
  • Upholding high standards of housekeeping and hygiene.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure the machines remain in optimal condition and promptly reporting any anomalies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety, meticulous attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine interest in automation and technology, coupled with a willingness to learn new concepts and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
  • A willingness and ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • The ability to accurately identify colors such as red, blue, white, yellow, and green.
  • Meet physical fitness requirements, including frequent walking, climbing, lifting up to 25kgs unassisted, and working at heights of up to 30 meters (with appropriate training and safety gear provided).
