Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with repairs utilizing Volvo Standard Times and tools where appropriate.
- Collaborate in fault diagnosis processes.
- Learn and adhere to warranty procedures during repairs and on completion of a repair.
- Assist the parts team to ensure accurate replacement parts are fitted to vehicles.
- Acquire skills in using Volvo special tools safely and efficiently.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean workshop environment.
- Ensure adherence to company time recording procedures and job card accuracy.
- Report vehicle defects to the workshop supervisor promptly.
- Comply with wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- Regularly attend college courses to achieve required standards.
- Participate in technical or development training as made available.

Requirements:
- A strong interest in heavy vehicle engineering.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and a desire to learn.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Desired qualifications: GCSE A* to C/Grade 4 in Math and English.
Training Details:
Training is delivered through a combination of workplace and block release at Remit's dedicated Heavy Vehicle Academy in Derby. There are 18 blocks over the 32-month program, consisting of virtual classes and days in Derby.
