Electrical and Instrumentation Leadership Opportunity

A challenging leadership role has become available for a highly experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer.

About the Role:
  • This is a permanent opportunity to lead a team of talented engineers, working on cutting-edge projects that support clients' transition to renewable energy systems and decarbonisation.
  • You will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions, managing project teams, and providing technical direction as required.
  • Experience working in various sectors including mining, oil and gas, water, and infrastructure is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design experience in low voltage and high voltage distribution system design, including motor control centres and switchboards.
  • High voltage and low voltage power system modelling and protection design, with a strong focus on safety.
  • Manage small project teams and provide technical direction as required.
  • Generate study reports, scopes of work, equipment specifications, and datasheets.
  • Generate engineering estimates and quotations.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects and ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to Verbrec standards.

Requirements:

  • Relevant (7+ years) and current Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering experience.
  • CPEng accreditation is desirable or willingness to participate in certification process in partnership with Engineers Australia.
  • Degree or equivalent experience/qualifications is mandatory.
