Operational Excellence Specialist

Are you passionate about promoting a safe working environment, driving operational efficiency and supporting business excellence?

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process high-risk permit to work applications to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Onboard contractors and maintain accurate licensing records in accordance with industry standards.
  • Support new employee and contractor setup in our safety systems to ensure seamless integration and effective risk management.
  • Maintain up-to-date registers for hazardous materials, confined spaces, heritage sites, and other relevant areas of concern.
  • Assist with monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and compliance documentation to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Load hazard reports and generate remediation tasks to mitigate potential risks and ensure a proactive approach to safety.
  • Support toolbox talks, onsite reviews, and quality inspections to promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in Work Health and Safety (WHS) principles and practices.
  • Prior administrative experience in maintenance or facilities management is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are required for data analysis and reporting.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and safety-focused mindset is critical for driving business excellence and ensuring a positive work environment.
