About the Opportunity- We are looking for an experienced Project Officer to join our team and contribute to the development of culturally safe cancer care initiatives.
This part-time role will involve collaborating with Aboriginal communities, health professionals, and cancer services to design, implement, and evaluate strategies that enhance access, experience, and outcomes for patients and families.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs to improve culturally safe cancer care practices.
- Build strong relationships with Aboriginal communities and health professionals to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the delivery of culturally safe cancer care.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, community engagement, or cancer care.
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural protocols and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
