Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned portfolio management professional to drive strategic direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support successful delivery of annual programs by influencing, governing, monitoring, and tracking progress and schedules.
  • Ensure robust delivery execution across assigned portfolios, acting as trusted business partner and providing reliable advice.
  • Provide effective planning, monitoring, and oversight of strategic programs and projects within assigned portfolios.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, program managers, and engage with senior management to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Lead and optimize implementation of portfolio management in assigned portfolios.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategy for leadership team.
  • Ensure effective planning, monitoring, and delivery of portfolio of programs, projects, and initiatives to deliver agreed KPIs (time, budget, scope, and quality).
  • Act as endorser for key information sharing artefacts for assigned portfolios.
  • Provide key inputs to assemble and baseline AOP capex plan annually.
  • Ensure that delivery is aligned with maximisation of benefits and initiate benefit reviews in response to all delivery initiative changes or delays.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Business, IT, Engineering, or other aligned field.
  • Extensive experience leading portfolio of programs, ideally within IT/Telecommunications sector.
  • Years as Program Manager and/or Project Manager delivering large programs and projects.
  • Demonstrated success in directly managing large, complex programs.
  • Proven track record in successfully leading delivery team in matrix reporting environment.
  • Ability to operate effectively in various environments and respond appropriately to unexpected circumstances.
  • Demonstrated ability to forge collaborative relationships both within and outside the team and influence desired outcomes.
  • Commercial and business awareness with focus on delivering to internal or external customer.
  • Capable of independently assessing wide variety of tasks and being proactive in identifying and undertaking activities that benefit the business.
  • Ability to manage compliance and conformance with regulatory, legislative, and contractual obligations.
