Nurse Operations Lead

We are seeking an experienced nurse professional to oversee the effective management of nursing operations in our medical day unit.

  • This role offers a unique opportunity for growth and development as a leader in a newly built hospital environment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience in managing and developing teams in a hospital setting
  • Leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in evidence-based nursing practices and patient safety protocols
  • Strong organisational, communication and leadership abilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing nursing staff, including recruitment, training, rostering and performance management
  • Ensuring optimal staffing levels for safe and high-quality patient care
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans
  • Monitoring patient outcomes, satisfaction scores and quality indicators

This is a permanent full-time position, working 80 hours per fortnight.
