About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, mobilising and coordinating all aspects of plant operations for foundations and bridge construction.

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to support all phases of plant deployment.
  • You will be required to monitor utilisation and performance, and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal results.
  • The ideal candidate will provide technical advice on plant selection, capabilities and safe operating procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • You will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers and logistics teams to manage plant operations effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inspections, servicing, compliance and utilisation is essential for this role.
  • You will support lift studies, equipment planning, WHS, environmental and quality compliance initiatives.

About You:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in plant engineering, civil or infrastructure projects is required.
  • You should hold a relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • A strong understanding of heavy plant and equipment used in foundations and bridge construction is crucial for this role.
  • You must be able to interpret engineering drawings, plant specifications and maintenance schedules accurately.
  • Practical problem-solving skills, organisational abilities and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
  • A confident communicator who can engage and build rapport with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams is required.
