Job Description

The Director provides high-level leadership and drives student outcomes through the provision of school improvement practices, strategic education policy advice, leadership at the systemic certification level, and effective consultation with stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Director leads the school improvement program areas to develop, implement, evaluate, and report on strategic plans, policies, and programs that support the implementation of 7-12 curriculum, teaching, learning, assessment, reporting, and certification in all Northern Territory schools.

Key Performance Indicators

The Director is responsible for delivering improved student outcomes, enhancing teacher professionalism, and promoting a culture of excellence within the educational system.
