Purchasing Officer Role Summary

As a Purchasing Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our aged care facilities. This dynamic and challenging position requires a highly organized individual with exceptional problem-solving skills.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring goods and services while maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. They will also be expected to analyze financial data and make informed decisions regarding inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure goods and services through effective negotiation and contract management
  • Analyze financial data to inform procurement decisions
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory levels
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve procurement efficiency
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar purchasing or supply chain role
  • Proficiency in inventory systems and financial data analysis, with a strong command of MS suite
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for problem-solving
  • A collaborative and adaptable approach, thriving in both autonomous and team environments
