Casual Facilities Team Leader

As a Casual Facilities Team Leader, you are the linchpin between operational efficiency and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize daily operations to achieve seamless service delivery
  • Ensure adherence to high standards of hygiene through regular inspections
  • Pursue innovative cost-saving measures to enhance guest satisfaction

Collaborative Approach:

  • Support kitchen staff with food preparation and kitchen duties
  • Assist with receiving and storing goods in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate proper use of chemicals and support other departments as needed

Guest Focus:

  • Maintain accurate records of crockery and cutlery cleanliness in accordance with HACCP guidelines
  • Provide prompt assistance to customers when required

Compliance and Safety:

  • Collaborate with management to implement workplace health and safety initiatives
  • Participate in investigations of workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions
  • Report workplace hazards to relevant personnel
  • Wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed
  • Operate safety equipment, tools, and substances in a responsible manner
  • Communicate workplace hazards to supervisors and report incidents promptly

Essential Skills:

  • Desirable experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP guidelines
  • Awareness of safety procedures and proper PPE usage
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate across departments
