We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at AltX Group.

About the Role:

This role involves developing and maintaining business relationships with a network of brokers, educating them on our mortgage products, and helping them achieve revenue targets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with a network of brokers.
  • Product Education: Educate brokers on all loan opportunities and how they can drive business growth.
  • Sales Funnel Management: Proactively manage a sales funnel and follow up sales leads and opportunities to completion.
  • Broad Business Initiatives: Support broader business initiatives to improve business performance, efficiencies, and broker/customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Business Development Expertise: Demonstrated excellence in business development, sales, and relationship management with proven experience in Mortgage lending and third-party intermediary spaces.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the banking, non-bank, and finance industries, specifically within the broker space.
  • Broker Network: Current relationships and contacts within the broker market.
  • Panel Growth: Proven experience in growing a panel of brokers.
  • Target Achievement: Proven track record in meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environment.
  • Complex Industry Segments: Ability to understand complex industry segments and utilise this understanding to develop initiatives to drive growth.
  • Financial Analysis: Understanding of financial reports and demonstrated numerical and statistical analysis skills.
  • Project Management: Sound understanding of and experience in project management methodologies.
