AI Product Owner

We're looking for a seasoned AI Product Owner to lead the design and development of pioneering AI-powered tools that enable the shift to net-zero mining.

Job Description

We're building a future where electric haul trucks, green energy systems, and real-time optimisation redefine what's possible in mining. As the AI Product Owner, you'll spearhead the product strategy, development roadmap, and stakeholder engagement for two of our most critical digital systems: an intelligent Fleet Management Platform and a next-generation Green Fleet Dispatch Optimiser.

These tools will directly influence how we plan, operate, and continuously optimise our fully electrified mining fleets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop vision for AI systems and solutions and a value-based roadmap.
  • Lead quarterly planning sessions.
  • Conduct data analysis and user research to define product requirements and features.
  • Build, groom and prioritise the product backlog.
  • Define, implement, and track performance metrics once solutions enter production.
Qualifications and Experience

You'll need 7+ years of experience in either AI & analytics product development or mine operations technical disciplines with technical project delivery experience.

Experience in cross-functional teams and ability to communicate effectively across multiple business areas is also essential.
