We are seeking an experienced Procurement Controls Specialist to join our team and contribute to the company's continued success. This newly created role will enable you to utilize your strategic mindset to drive sustainable value and ensure every decision aligns with Lion's values and vision.

This impactful position comes with a competitive estimated salary of $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, based on industry standards for similar roles in Australia.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Linking business needs to contracted suppliers to manage risk and drive value.
  • Managing stakeholders to promote effective business partnerships and adherence to procurement policies.
  • Approving all new supplier set ups and owning the process for ensuring compliance amongst the business.
  • Implementing a streamlined process for managing our contracted supplier listing.
  • Identifying value-creation opportunities in the indirect tail spend and completing end-to-end sourcing for these opportunities, driving cost savings and added value across the business.
  • Managing relationships with Lion's suppliers alongside Category Managers throughout the sourcing process.

What kind of experience and knowledge are we looking for?

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in procurement, with knowledge of procurement policies, controls, and SAP.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong business partnering abilities, commercial and technical acumen, and excellent communication skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
