Job Title: Tax Manager

At Caia - Jobboard, we're seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Australian/NZ tax team, you'll play a crucial role in managing tax compliance and advisory services for our New Zealand branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operational tax compliance and manage corporate tax compliance, tax accounting, and audit activities.
  • Properly manage tax exposures and risks to ensure zero penalties.
  • Provide tax advice to all levels of New Zealand management and business units on taxation issues.
  • Support the management of tax reputational risks in New Zealand and Australia.
  • Make tax decisions with oversight from NZ Head of Finance and AU Head of Tax.
Requirements:
  • An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or Business related.
  • Professional qualification (member of a recognised accountancy body).
  • Experience working for one of the big four professional service firms is highly desirable.
  • Subject matter expertise in tax and a high level of professional competence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
