Tax Manager

As a key member of the Perigon Group tax team, the Senior Corporate Tax Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with all tax regulations, direct and indirect. This encompasses income tax, transfer pricing, R&D tax incentive, GST or VAT, FBT, stamp duty, and payroll tax.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing systems and procedures to improve efficiency and minimize risk. This will involve driving tax-related projects, such as transfer pricing, transaction support, and investment projects.
Additionally, the Senior Corporate Tax Manager will provide tax advice and related consulting services to the wider business, leveraging their technical knowledge and research capabilities.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will be a CA/CPA qualified corporate tax professional with a chartered background (Big 4 or large mid-tier) and experience working within a Financial Services business within their tax team.
Key requirements include:
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax, tax reporting, and tax effect accounting.
- A forward thinker, system savvy with proved experience in automating processes.
