Tax Manager

As a key member of the Perigon Group tax team, you will be responsible for ensuring all tax compliance matters are handled efficiently and effectively. This includes direct and indirect tax matters, as well as income tax, transfer pricing, R&D tax incentives, GST or VAT, FBT, stamp duty, and payroll tax.
You will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and implementing systems and procedures to improve efficiency and minimize risk. Additionally, you will drive tax-related projects, such as transfer pricing, transaction support, and investment projects.
As a tax professional with a chartered background, you will partner with the wider business to provide tax advice and related consulting services, utilizing your technical knowledge and research capabilities.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A CA/CPA qualification and experience working within a Financial Services business.
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax, tax reporting, and tax effect accounting.
- A forward-thinking approach with experience in automating processes.
